Talent Bridge Intern Graduates Valedictorian of her Class

Talent Bridge is proud to announce Marla Miller, our very first Talent Bridge Intern, graduated this weekend from North Carolina State University. As an accounting student she finished with a 4.0 GPA and earned Valedictorian status. While at NC State, Marla was inducted into Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies and volunteered at the SPCA of Wake County. She served Talent Bridge the summer of 2011 by assisting with payroll, internal operations and compliance. In 2012, Marla worked as an Intern at Piedmont Natural Gas and will return this summer. Marla plans to attend graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the fall to obtain her Masters in Accountancy. We are so happy for Marla and wish her success. Congratulations Marla!

Tom Tollison Joins Talent Bridge

He is a 2001 graduate from UNC-Greensboro and has nearly 10 years of experience in accounting & finance perm recruiting, working from 2003-2011 with a boutique search firm based in Fort Worth, TX and moving to Charlotte in late-2011. Shelley Lower Joins Talent Bridge

Shelley has over 7 years of experience as a Staffing Recruiter. She specializes in placing individuals within the financial industry. Shelley has a unique understanding of the recruiting process working closely with both candidates and clients to ensure the highest level of service and professionalism are given to each placement. Shelley is a graduate of Appalachian State and has been in Charlotte since graduation giving her extensive networks within the community.

In her free time, Shelley is a volunteer for the Wells Fargo golf tournament, Golden Retriever Rescue Club and the Charlotte Youth Ballet. She is an avid runner and resides in the Southpark community with her two daughters. Shelley is excited to be a part of the team at Talent Bridge and is looking forward to growing with the firm.

Tiffany has over 10 years of experience as an Executive Recruiter. She specializes in placing marketing communications and RFP professionals, client service professionals and analysts within the asset management industry throughout the United States. Tiffany has a unique understanding of the recruiting process. She works closely with both candidates and clients to ensure the highest level of service and professionalism are given to each assignment. Tiffany has an extensive network of contacts within the asset management industry and because of that network; she is regularly involved in the organization of asset management panels for national conferences for organizations like The Institute for International Research and Infovest21.

In her free time, Tiffany is a volunteer for Chester Citizens Alliance in South Carolina and the Boy Scouts of America. She resides in South Carolina with her husband and two children. Tiffany is excited to be a part of the team at Talent Bridge and is looking forward to growing with the firm.

Hiede Bray Promoted to Manager of Staffing Operations

It’s a new year and as Talent Bridge continues to grow, one change we’ve made pertains to one of our internal employees.

Hiede Bray joined Talent Bridge in December of 2010 after obtaining 5 years of experience recruiting in the IT space with other organizations. Shortly after joining Talent Bridge she moved to our Staffing Group where she became the primary contact for our financial services, operations and brokerage platform. She showed tremendous strength in the area of compliance, organization and creating processes in the group. Because of her efforts, she was recently promoted to Manager of Staffing Operations where she will lead the operational processes for the staffing division. She will monitor our internal applicant tracking system to capture all client, job order, and candidate activity updates to ensure timely and accurate turnaround of offer and hire letters.

Talent Bridge Named to the Fast 50

We are proud to announce that Talent Bridge has been named as a recipient of the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2012 Fast 50 list. This event recognizes local companies with outstanding growth, entrepreneurial excellence and leadership.

During the awards luncheon we will reveal the honoree company rankings based on their percentage of annual growth over a three-year period. Honorees will also be featured in a special section of the Charlotte Business Journal on December 7.

Talent Bridge extends a warm welcome to our latest full time employee, Regenal Weekes. She is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a degree in Business Administration, has 12 years experience as an Account Coordinator as well as a background in Customer Service. Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, she has resided in Charlotte for 14 years and lives here with her husband and 3 year old daughter. Talent Bridge Named Honoree of 2012 Best Places to Work

Talent Bridge was recently name to “2012 Best Places to Work Awards” as an Honoree. The event will be held on November 9th at the Charlotte Convention Center where the winner will be announced.

Five dollars of each ticket purchased will directly benefit the Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas.
